“Viaje” is a song composed, produced, and performed by Jack Dimensions. On this occasion, Jack offers us a song with overtones of pop, rock, and fusion tango, as well as being sung by himself. The lyrics tell about a walk that ends up becoming a trip, in which getting lost in the middle of the stretch is not a bad thing, but this helps the person to know himself thoroughly and realize that not always what was planned is the best. Great musicians such as Elias Ciambotti, Alvare Goco and Nacho Sosa participate in this song.
lyrics

“Bringing together the music listener with music that inspires and makes us think while cultivating memories. We release music that we feel will stand the test of time.”
BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... Paul Rote surely has a point. It's absolutely amazing how many good things prog are coming from Norway. I already have many of the songs features in this compilation in my collection (be it Bandcampy digital or old-schooly physical formats), but for sheer sympathy I couldn't pass this NYP offer.
If you're a prog fan and haven't noticed the Norwegian prog scene yet (er, is that possible?) check it out. Definitely! And this is a great starting point... Carsten Pieper
